Anti-Tank Trench near Nevinnomyssk
On September 25, the Germans and the local police force took 25 civilians, including 23 Jews, to another pit next to the one in which the gassed victims were buried. This, too, was an anti-tank trench located three kilometers from the town. The victims – men, women, and children – had to enter the pit. The Germans and the local policemen then proceeded to murder the victims with stones and blunt weapons. Afterward, the pit was covered with soil.

House Building Plant (DSK) (Gas Vans)
In the last days of September 1942, the Jewish residents of the town were ordered to assemble at the local House Building Plant (DSK). There, the Jews were forced to strip naked. Their possessions and valuables were confiscated by the German military. Afterward, a truck drove into the courtyard of the House Building Plant. The vehicle was hermetically sealed, having been converted into a gas van. The Jews had to enter the cargo compartment of the truck. The compartment was then hermetically sealed, and the truck drove away. Some 30 people would be forced into the truck each time. The bodies of the gassed individuals would be taken about 3 kilometers out of the town and thrown into an anti-tank trench. After about 485 Jewish civilians had been murdered with gas, their grave was covered with soil.
