Bekeshevskaya Area
After the Germans had occupied the village, they subjected the local Jews to beatings and abuse. The Jews were starved and sent to perform forced labor. The occupiers later confiscated their property. On December 12, 1942, the German military rounded up the Jews who had not starved to death, assembled them in the central square of the village, herded them into several vehicles, and took them to the outskirts of the village, where they were shot with machine guns. The victims were probably murdered in a specially prepared pit.
