Bogodukhov Cemetery

According to Soviet reports, in July-August 1942 groups of a dozen to several dozen “Soviet civilians” of various ages and of both sexes, most probably Jews, were taken to a cemetery in Bogodukhov and shot dead. In this case, too, the mass murder had been initiated by Braun, the local German military commandant, who also played an active role in the shootings themselves, alongside local auxiliary policemen.
