Brick Factory near the Ochłopów Village

In early September 1942 the Jews of Drużkopol were taken by a German unit and Ukrainian auxiliary police outside of town to the former brick factory that was located near the village of Ochłopów. Upon arriving at the murder site, some of the Jewish victims, mainly women, children, and elderly people, were forced to dig pits, and then were stripped naked and shot to death with machine-guns. After the shooting, local Ukrainian residents covered the mass graves with earth.
