Chemical Plant Rubezhnoye
According to some Soviet reports, at least two Jewish families, with a total of six people between them, were shot in Rubeznoye. The Jews were arrested and subjected to abuse while in custody. They were later shot – apparently, along with Communists, partisans, and Red Army POWs – in the area of the local chemical plant, the main murder site in the town. The shooting took place in early August 1942.
