Cherchi Ravine

The Jewish men of Radomyshl were shot in the Cherchi Ravine, located about 1.5 kilometers from the town. In different sources the number of victims ranges from 70 to 150. According to some testimonies, before the shooting the Jews were forced to kneel and then were shot in the back of the head. Several shooting operations were apparently carried out against Jewish men in the Cherchi Ravine. Some of the shootings were reported to have taken place in late July 1941; other testimonies date them to August of the same year.
