Dmitriyevka Hospital
On September 23, 1941, in the afternoon, the Ukrainian police summoned all the Jews of Dmitriyevka to the building of the German gendarmerie. 15 Jews were first held in the building, then they were taken to ditches near the Dmitriyevka hospital and shot, along with 30 prisoners of war, with machine guns by SS men. Apart from the 15 Jews mentioned above, an unknown number of Jewish children were brutally murdered a short time later. Ukrainian policemen assisted the Germans but did not participate in the shooting.
