Dneprovskaya Manufaktura Factory

On December 6, 1941, following a selection conducted in the ghetto, the Germans murdered most of the ghetto's Jews – approximately 1,500 of them - on the outskirts of the town, between a water reservoir and the Dneprovskaya Manufaktura weaving factory (today a linen factory). Later, in February 1942, during the liquidation of the ghetto Germans killed 300 skilled workers and their family members who had survived the first murder operation.
