Forest near the Slutsk Road
On May 8, 1942, during the night, Urechye was surrounded by Germans and Belarusian auxiliary police. All the Jews were taken from their homes and collected on the town square. 800 Jews were taken to the forest 4 kilometers from the town and forced to undress. Then they were shot to death.

Zelenaya Street in Urechye
After the murder of most of Urechye's Jewish residents, between 86 and 120 Jewish specialists remained alive. On August 4, 1943 (or in June of 1942) all of the specialists were murdered in the vicinity of the town, in a location that is now on Zelenaya Street.
