Kletnya Area
On April 12 or 30, 1942 (according to different sources) about 110-120 Jews were taken from the ghetto in Kletnya to a storage building located on the northern outskirts of the town. Several days later the victims were taken to a shooting pit 100-150 meters from the edge of the forest. There they were forced to undress and were shot. The victims included young children taken from their mothers. The murder operation was carried out by Einsatzkommando 7a, with the participation of SS troops.
