On an unknown date the Germans arrested approximately 40 Jewish families, with a total of 120 members. The Germans deceived their victims into believing that they were going to be evacuated but, in fact, took them to the military airfield south of town and murdered them there. Later the Germans used this airfield as the killing site for all of the Jews who were still alive in Korenovskaya County.
