Krasnyy Farmstead
The Jews of Konstantinovka were rounded up on the pretext of being sent to the Urals. In reality, they were taken out of the town in trucks and shot in a ravine in the area of the Krasny farmstead (which appears to have become part of the town since then). The shooting was carried out by members of Sonderkommando 4b in November–late December 1941. The number of victims, according to later Soviet sources, was 240, while German documents give a much lower figure: some eighty people.
