On April 12, 1942 the inhabitants of both ghettos were taken by truck to some field, some sources indicate a more specific location - oil tanks between the town of Zhlobin and the village of Lebedevka - and were shot in two large pits. Two days later 198 Jews from the ghetto of Streshin, a nearby small town, were murdered at the same site.
