Lesovaya Lyseevka

Jews from Novaya Priluka who had survived the November 1941 massacre by hiding but were ultimately discovered were taken, mostly by local Ukrainian auxiliary policemen, to the forest near the village of Lisova Lysiivka (Lesovaya Lyseevka), about 12 kilometers west of Novaya Priluka (in the territory of Kalinovka County, adjacent to Turbov County), and shot dead there.

Novaya Priluka Church

In late July or early August 1941 Germans who were stationed in Novaya Priluka, together with local Ukrainian auxiliary policemen, drove several dozen Jewish men of the town toward the church, forced them to step on broken glass, then beat them to death and buried them on the spot. Later Jewish women from Novaya Priluka were forced to rebury the bodies at the cemetery.
