Litin Military Barracks
On December 19, 1941 Jews who had been taken from Dyakovtsy to Litin and held in the area of a former military barracks were among the approximately 2,000 Jews who were taken to pits near the barracks on the outskirts of Litin, forced to undress, and then shot dead. It is unknown how many Dyakovtsy Jews were murdered on that date. The perpetrators of this massacre were apparently members of Einsatzkommando 5 of Einsatzgruppe C and local auxiliaries.
