Novo-Poltavka Airfield
On September 10, 1941 a unit of Einsatzgruppe D, together with Novo-Poltavka gendarmes, locked between 800 and 900 Novo-Poltavka Jews into a building that before the war had served as the offices of a cooperative. After being held for a short time in the building in the center of the village, on the same day the Jews were taken to an air field north of the village, forced to strip naked, lined up at the edge of two ditches (that either were used to store fuel tanks or, according to another source, were intended as anti-tank trenches), and then shot dead.
