In the winter of 1942 the Jewish survivors of the massacre at Staroselye, together with Jews from Shchetinka, were taken to a forest one kilometer from the village and murdered there near the road from Shchetinka to the village of Novobrashchino. Neither the exact date nor the number of victims of this massacre is known.
