Opsa Area
According to some accounts, during the resettlement of the "useful" Jews of Opsa to the Brasław Ghetto in the fall of 1942, the Germans killed the Jews deemed "useless" (elderly individuals, women, children). The most likely site of this massacre is the Christian cemetery in the center of the village. After the war, a memorial was erected there. The number of victims of this massacre is unclear.
