Ozerishche

On August 18 (according to another source, August 27), 1941 the Germans and the Jewish police assembled all the Jewish men and some non-Jewish men, totalling 75 (or, according to other sources, 104 or 107) on the pretext of their having engaged in resistance. They were taken to a nearby forest (where there were anti-tank trenches), close to the village of Ozerishche and shot to death.
