Pochtovaya Street in Bobrinets

In early January, following the escape of some Jew from the ghetto, 10 other Jews were selected and locked into a house on Pochtovaya Street. The gendarmes set fire to the house and guarded it until it burned down. In an attempt to survive one person succeeded in of getting out of the burning house through a window but he was caught by the gendarmes and killed.

Bobrinets Area

In January - February 1942 the inmates of the Bobrinets ghetto were taken in groups to the southwestern outskirts of the town and shot there in trenches. Before the shooting their valuables were taken by the Germans. The estimates of the number of the victims vary from 344 to 358. They included men, women, and children.
