Quarry in Blagodarnoye

After the occupation of Blagodarnoye, in October 1942 the Germans ordered the arrest of the Jews there. On a undetermined date German and local police forces arrested 187 Jews, whom they took to the central train station in Blagodarnoye. The victims had to hand over their clothes and valuables to the guards from the local police forces. According to several sources the Jews were taken southwest of town to a stone quarry, where local policemen shot them to death.

Blagodarnoye Airfield

The Germans also took seven or eight Jews separately from the central train station to the airfield. They had to line up in front of a pit at the airfield and were shot to death by members of the local police force.
