Shostakovo Labor Camp
According to the testimony of a Holocaust survivor, Jews from Shpola who had been sent to the Shostakovo labor camp in Katerinopol County (just west of Shpola County) and who had become sick and were considered unable to work were shot in a pit dug in the middle of the camp. The date or dates of this massacre or these massacres, the number of victims, and the identity of the perpetrators are all unknown.

Brodetsk Cherry Orchard
According to the testimony of one Holocaust survivor, apparently in the summer of 1942, several dozen Jews from Shpola who were sent in May 1942 to a Brodetsk labor camp (in Katerinopol County adjacent to Shpola County) and who were ill with typhus were shot to death at a pit dug in a cherry orchard near the camp. The perpetrators of this shooting were apparently members of the German rural and local auxiliary police.

Shostakovo Grove
In late December 1942, Jews from Shpola who had been sent in May of the same year to the Shostakovo labor camp in Katerinopol County were taken in groups to a pit dug in a grove near Shostakovo village and were shot dead by German rural and local auxiliary policemen. The number of the victims of this massacre is unknown.
