Solenoye Area

On February 9, 1942 about 50 Jews of all ages and both sexes, from Solenoye itself and the County, were assembled at the police station in Solenoye. There they were held for three days. Then on February 12, 1942 they were taken to a pit about one kilometer north of Solenoye and shot to death. The perpetrators of the massacre were apparently members of the Solenoye police force.
