Kutuzovskiy Park
The first murder operation against the Jews was carried out in late July or early August 1941. The Jewish men – who were shop assistants, according to some sources – were collected from their homes and taken across the river to the area of the Kutuzovkiy Park. According to most testimonies, there were about ten victims, although some sources put their number as high as 70. The victims appear to have been shot in the southern section of the park.
