During the German occupation several local Jews were murdered on Shkolnaya Street, opposite the cemetery on the outskirts of Uvarovichi, in the direction of Novaya Gusevitsa.

Grain Storage Site in Uvarovichi
On November 15, 1941 247 Jews were taken by SD men and local policemen from Uvarovich village to a local grain storage site and shot to death.
