Volchansk Distillery

According to a Soviet report, several dozen “peaceful residents” of the town of Volchansk (most probably Jews), of all ages and of both sexes, were shot in a ravine near the Volchansk distillery. The exact date(s) of the massacre(s) and the identity of the perpetrators are unknown.

Volchansk Forests

According to a Soviet report and some testimonies, several dozen “peaceful residents” of Volchansk, of all ages and of both sexes (probably including both Jews and non-Jews), were shot by the Germans on charges of "subversive activity." The shootings took place at anti-tank trenches in the forests in or around Volchansk, and the victims were shot in groups. The exact dates of these massacres and the identity of the perpetrators are unknown.
