Zagayko Forest
At the beginning of 1942 or, according to some sources, in February 1942, the inhabitants of the ghetto in Aleksandrovka, as well as Jews from nearby villages, were put on carts and taken to the Zagayko Forest. There they were met by carts with Jews from Kamenka-Shevchenkovskaya who were guarded by policemen. All the Jews from both locations were shot to death in the Zagayko Forest. Some sources say that policemen from Aleksandrovka were the ones who shot the Jews to death.
