Zagornoye Tract
In August 1941, a total of 760 (or 927, according to other sources) Jews from Zembin were rounded up by local policemen and taken under guard to the Zagornoye Tract, to a site 500 meters north of the village, next to the hospital where the forest road makes a right turn toward the villages of Kimiya and Ikany. There, the Jews were forced to dig a grave for themselves, and then shot dead.
